Alex reads as many books as she can get her hands on.


She studied at MacEwan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Applied Communications in Professional Writing, with Distinction, and was awarded the Medal of Academic Excellence in the Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications.


Alex interned at Goose Lane Editions, Canada’s oldest independent publisher. She now works in marketing in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry by day and pens stories by night.

 

Her work has appeared in Reverie, The Quilliad, CommuterLit, QWERTY, and Grain. You can read her short story “One Day on the Gaspé Peninsula” online.


As an editor, Alex loves collaborating with authors to explore literary craft and unlock the potential of each story.
